If only I had a personal Chef

I continue my sugar free journey and am learning more about myself every day. My biggest takeaway so far has been to evaluate and learn from my emotional eating cravings. Sitting in the tension of the craving, and not responding immediately has allowed important questions to bubble up. Questions like, do I really need that sweet treat. Or what is the hurry? Slow down and enjoy your food.
The savoring of my food and the experience of eating and cooking has sweetened the process and journey. Nurturing myself from a place of curiosity and healing has been liberating and expanded my understanding of the unconscious drivers behind my unhealthy eating. This process has been humbling and allows me to connect on a different level with my clients. I have spent years acquiring book knowledge of eating and disordered eating patterns, but this has been a true ‘walk the talk’ moment.
Applying this lessons to my life and then providing guidance for my clients from this new place is a powerful combination. It is with that new knowledge that I am excited to offer a new service starting in January.
Over the years, I have had so many people tell me that the number one thing that they wished that I could do was to cook their meals. I provide custom menus, and we set goals that align with their health objectives, but most of my clients need more support.
Starting in January, I will be offering a Cooking Club. This club will allow you to attend a cooking class, where you will learn how to prepare a variety of dishes for the following week. Each class will be fully immersive and allow you to get hands on training from me. At the end of the class, you will have four dinners that feed up to four people for a flat fee. At this time, i am still calculating the cost of the class. So, please reach out and let me know if this is something that would support your health journey. I will send out more information in November, please reply to be on that list!
